We are looking for talented, passionate braiders to grow with us at our luxury braiding lounge in North Brunswick, NJ. If you love the craft, care deeply about healthy hair, and want to work in a calm, elevated space, we want to meet you.
The role
Professional Braider
Full-time and part-time opportunities. Build a loyal clientele inside a polished salon with our signature express braiding service, premium products, and a steady stream of bookings.
What you will do
- Create knotless braids, stitch braids, cornrows, twists, locs, and custom protective styles.
- Deliver a luxury, spa-like experience from consultation to final mirror reveal.
- Protect scalp and edges with healthy, low-tension techniques.
- Keep your station and tools clean, organized, and salon-ready.
- Communicate clearly with clients on timing, maintenance, and aftercare.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience braiding a range of protective styles.
- A portfolio or social media gallery of recent work.
- Punctual, professional, and warm with clients.
- Strong attention to detail, parting, tension, and finishing.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
