Rules & Policies
Please read carefully before your appointment and sign below to confirm your agreement.

Appointments & Booking
- Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance through our website, phone, or DM.
- Please review service descriptions before booking to ensure you select the correct style.

Deposits & Payments
- A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all braiding appointments. The deposit is applied to your final balance.
- Remaining balance is due at the end of service.
- We accept cash, debit/credit cards, Zelle, CashApp, and Apple Pay.

Late Policy
- A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
- Arrivals between 16–30 minutes late incur a $15 late fee.
- Arrivals more than 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and the deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before your appointment: deposit can be transferred to a new date within 30 days.
- Cancellations within 24–48 hours: deposit is forfeited.
- No-shows: full deposit is forfeited and future bookings may require full prepayment.

Hair Preparation
- Hair must arrive clean, blow-dried, and detangled unless a wash service was booked.
- Wash, blow-dry, or detangling add-ons must be requested at the time of booking.
- An additional fee applies if extra prep time is needed on the day of service.

Children Policy
- Only minors receiving a service may be in the styling area, and must be supervised by an adult.
- For safety, additional children or guests cannot be accommodated in the salon.

Refunds & Reworks
- Due to the nature of braiding services, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds.
- Adjustments (tension, parting, loose braids) are free within 48 hours of your appointment.
- After 48 hours, a rework fee applies.

Style Maintenance
- Wear a satin/silk bonnet or scarf nightly to protect your style.
- Recommended wear time: 4–8 weeks depending on the style. Leaving braids in longer may damage your hair.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper maintenance or extended wear time.

Damaged Hair & Protective Styles Disclaimer
- Clients with thinning edges, traction alopecia, or fragile hair must disclose this prior to service.
- We reserve the right to refuse or modify a style that may further damage the hair.
- By proceeding with service, the client releases the salon from liability for pre-existing conditions.

General Conduct
- Please keep phone calls brief and on speaker only when necessary.
- Light snacks are welcome; please avoid messy or strong-smelling foods.
- Recording or photography of other clients is not permitted.
- Additional guests are not allowed in the styling area.
